BMC account section
Paloo
A digital queue for the account section. People scan a code, take a number, and go back to their day. Their page keeps track and tells them when to return. Staff run the desk from a dashboard.
How the queue works
- 1The account section shows a QR code that opens the join page.
- 2A student or parent scans it and gets a token, such as A-127.
- 3The ticket page shows the token, how many people are ahead, and the wait.
- 4They leave the area with the page open on their phone.
- 5The page beeps them at number 5 and again when the desk calls them.
- 6They walk back and are served at the account desk.
The four screens
- QR codeThe poster for the account section. Print it or put it on a screen.
- Join the queueWhat a student or parent opens after scanning. Hands out a token.
- Account deskThe staff dashboard. Call the next person, skip a no show, reset.
- Demo controlsMove the queue by hand or on a timer, and reset the seed data.
